The SM series anchor drill rig is applicable in the construction of rock bolts, anchor ropes, geological drilling, grouting reinforcement, and underground micro piles in different geological conditions (soil, clay, gravel, rock-soil and water bearing stratum). This drill rig achieves double deck rotary drilling or percussive rotary drilling and auger drilling (through a screw rod). By pairing it with an air compressor and down hole hammer, the drill can easily carry out drilling of a casing pipe. Pairing it with shotcrete equipment achieves construction technology of churning and supporting.

The drilling rig is equipped with a mobile main control console. The operator can freely adjust the operating position according to the actual conditions of the construction site, in order to achieve the optimum operating angle.
6. Adjustable upper vehicle:
Through the movement of a group of cylinders which are mounted on the roof bolter chassis, the angle of the upper vehicle assembly, relative to the lower vehicle assembly, can be adjusted. This ensures the crawler comes into full contact with uneven ground and keeps the upper vehicle assembly level, so that the roof bolter stays stable when it moves over the uneven landscape. The center of gravity for the entire machine also remains stable when the roof bolter runs uphill and downhill during large gradient conditions.
